Heaven on Earth!

Is there something special or new to talk about?...Guess not, ow wait....I could talk about anything or rather type anything since, people who know me would surely describe my temper as a F*****' "talking machine". But I will make it short & lay down a few thoughts I got about this little town I visited not long ago....Yeah I'm talking about Luxembourg...ho ho ho. Well... I have to say, this State (city) is full of colours, shallow streets & connected people, so full of energy and shows great environement. We can find old cohesive architectures (not that we care) mixed with gorgeous gardens and yellow houses (really!). One would think, this little place looks like a paradise on Earth, but the downside of this fairy-tale takes the grab when some hidden thoughts elucidate the real issue behind the beauty of the curtain . Bankers.Money.Capital.Market. ... Is this the only reason why the city is so well preserved? We can also take a look at Zürich (beautul city), same symptoms. It feels like a dream town drawned by the ex-aristochracy which now has been replaced by a new range of "market-type" people. Rich cities who can count on their financial ressources to make a better place for those who can afford it.

Beautiful how the world works... as long as you haven't had the chance to be born in the right side, you can't taste the flavours of life, you can just watch them, just like I watch this city of Luxembourg, full of accessible treasures, which are restricted.

Hungry In Maastricht!

Seriously, going to Maastricht for any kind of purpose is good (in our case the purpose was to go buy a shirt for my friend's brother) but falling in starvation is another! The consequence of that is that I ate so much (a bit too much) that I couldn't freakin' move!

Photos, In which way?

I like model shooting & also retouched photos with nice darker tones and shadows. These photos portray the awesome work & the effort put into the project, in order to make them almost perfect (perfection doesn't exist in my opinion, so the best is being close to it).

I have had this idea walking around my mind for a while, but the thing is that I don't really have the right camera (doesn't support RAW folders) and neither the right lightning. I am looking forward though, to go deeper in this idea. Initiative is the only thing that can get through your way. Pass that, things begin to come from their own.

I just wanted to make him watch the lense like a human portrait : ) ... Aaand for the rest, I just played around with the tones & decided to put it in B&W, I am in love with B&W! Yay, I guess...

Winter is coming

Winter is coming fast and it's pushing the summer away. This summer hasn't been what I was expecting for it to be. A lot of work and less free time. Not more than a few photos of past sommers to put the right mood :p. Waiting for next summer. (Some of the photos were taken in '07)

Which DSLR to choose?

Entre le 550D, le nouveau 60D et le 7D, on se demande souvent lequel est le plus adéquat. Bien, si l'on vient de commencer dans les appareils DSLR et qu'on souhaite un bon appareil avec un mixte entre qualité d'image et vidéo, on choisira plutôt le 550D. Si en revanche on souhaite s'appliquer plus dans les vidéos, le 60D est le plus approprié car il bénéficie d'un écran mobile qui peut filmer à des "low angles" (c-à-d, d'un angle bas, qui est difficile de filmer avec les deux autres). Par contre si on va vers la direction des appareils semi-professionnels avec 8fps + vidéo remarquable, alors c'est le 7D...

La vie est bien marrante des fois... On y attends quelque chose, puis une autre sort de nulle part. Parfois même tout le contraire de ce à quoi on s'attendait.
Une italienne dans mon kot... Il ne manquait plus que ca. Elle me demande si je parle sa langue, et bien sûr je lui répond que je n'y connais rien...lol -Ben ouéé, j'vé pas passer 1h à lui parler dans sa lang, d'jà qu'elle était bavarde en Fr :p-
